Her name is Sin, sleeps but prays never to wake. You can't drown out the sound of the Truth forever. The best gift imaginable is also the worst punishment for her. In her closed eyes it's easy to neglect what's in front of you when you forgo it for the things you don't have.

Sin is a character that's haunted me for years. lingers in the back of my mind when i have nothing to paint. whenever im pained in the real world sin makes it look trivial. she's a woman i've painted more than any, and she doesnt even exist unless she's looking through a canvas. i love her, and she hates me for creating her. so it works out

I love so many things about this picture.
The texture of the sky is amazing and the red lighting cuts through it for such awesome contrast.

Her wings are amazing, they're so fragile and beautiful and strange against such a heavy and dirty backdrop.

Like in all your art it's the tiny beautiful sections of detail that show that your heart is not only in your pieces but your pieces are tiny pictures of your heart.

I sound like an idiot but I'm trying to say how awesome and inspiring all your art is.
So much work went into this, I know.
